    Lake City Ski Hill

    Located just south of the town of Lake City, this ski and snowboarding hill offers 247 vertical feet (75m)of skiing terrain on a 990 feet (301m) run. During the regular ski season, the hill is in operation Saturday through Monday. Rental equipment is available.

    Powderhorn Resort

    Powderhorn Resort caters to a range of skiers, with roughly 50 per cent of the runs aimed at intermediates, 20 per cent for beginners, 15 per cent for advanced and 15 per cent for experts. The mountain reaches 9,850 feet at its highest point, with a runs taking skiers down 1,650 feet to the base. Rentals, lessons, accommodations and seasons passes are all found on the hill top. Powderhorn is open for business from early December until late March and has three chair lifts to bring guests up the mountain.
