In operation from June to September, this museum pays tribute to the region's mining heritage through mine tours, exhibits and hands-on activities. Visitors can take a guided 40-minute tour into the over 100 year-old metal ore mine where lighted displays and mining equipment are featured. Visitors can peruse the offerings of the onsite gift shop which features mineral samples, rocks and souvenirs.
