Collections include farming equipment, railroad memorabilia, American Indian artifacts and much more.     Ute Indian Museum

    Open year-round, this museum commemorates the history of the Ute American Indians. Situated on the original homestead of Ute Chief Ouray and his wife Chipeta, the museum features gallery space, a store, instructional spaces and the Montrose Visitor Information Center. Visitors can learn more about Ute culture by exploring permanent and temporary exhibits or through a variety of workshops and programs.
